Project 6




In project 6 we had to create 2 Synths. One of my Synths which plays in the beginning of the song and carries out till the end is a square wave with a volume envelope on it. My second Synth was a sine wave and a pitch envelope. The second Synth doesn't start playing till the last 8 measures. Through out the whole loop besides in 4 measures i used a consistent 4 beat kick drum. I also used the hat sound in the beginning of the loop. In the middle i transposed my first Synth then i joined the regular Synth and the transposed Synth together for two measures. Before my second Synth i added a noise synth to introduce the second Synth. I also used a long creepy Synth sound in the end to give the sound a weird feeling. As an ending i faded the volume out.

In project 5 i used the Riff Machine on the FMS infector. This pattern plays through out my whole loop. I also made up my own SimSynth, then i copied my SimSynth sound and transposed it to a high sound. I used a plain 4 step drum beat until i got to the last 12 measures and then the drump beat changes to 2 low bass drum. When i wanted to change a pattern into another i would use a drum roll at the end of a patter or i used a snare roll. I also used a 4 step clap and a clap sound i created. In the end i kept my FMS Infector sound going, while i changed the SimSynth sound to a Notch Bell sound. I also used an explosion sound because i thought it was fun and it made a good introduction into a different sound then the loop was before. To end it i faded my loop out.
